  4. Visitors
  5. Small print

A working record kept beside the kiln. Updated when there is something worth writing down, which is not every week.

Coming to the studio

The shop is open Thursday and Friday afternoons. The kiln shed is not open on a firing day, for the ordinary reason that it is too hot to stand in.

Finding itTop of the lane, behind the green gate. No sign; look for the kiln shelves.

If you bring children

They are welcome, and there is usually a lump of clay going spare. The one rule is that nothing on a shelf gets picked up, because most of it is either wet or waiting to be fired.

What we cannot do

  1. Identify a pot from a photograph if it was not made here.
  2. Fire other people's work. Insurance, and the kiln is full.
  3. Ship anything. Everything leaves through the door.
